What we collect when you search, save or enquire, what we do with it, and how to change your mind.

This is a working draft prepared for NK Real Estate Group and should be reviewed by counsel before launch. It describes the site and portal as built in Phase One.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, email address and phone number when you enquire about a home, request a tour, ask for a seller consultation or create an account. Documents you upload to your portal.
- What your use tells us. Homes you view and save, searches you save, tours you request, and the pages you visit, so your agent can pick up where you left off.
- What the browser sends. Your IP address, device type and approximate location, which we use for security and to default the map to your area.
How we use it
- To assign one agent to you and give them the context to help without asking twice.
- To send the alerts you asked for, at the frequency you chose.
- To confirm tours, share documents and keep an audit trail of consent.
- To keep the site secure and to understand which parts of it work.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass your enquiry to other brokerages or advertisers. An enquiry about a home goes to an NK agent and nobody else.
Your choices
- Change or turn off alerts in your portal at any time.
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP, or in your profile.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing hello@nkrealestate.com. Records we must keep under real estate licensing law are the exception, and we will tell you which.
How long we keep it
Account and transaction records are kept for as long as Virginia licensing law requires brokerages to retain them. Saved searches and alerts are kept until you delete them or close your account.
